WE STILL NEED YOUR FINANCIAL HELP
We run the Festival for the benefit of the entrants - we have seen so many talented people come through our doors and who then tell us how important the Festival has been in practicing and developing their life skills.
The Festival operates as a registered Charity. None of the volunteers, committee members or trustees receive any remuneration. All the income goes towards mounting the next annual Festival.
2025 has been the first year in four that the Festival Charity has received enough one-off donations to rebuild the reserves. We can now see a path to cover the 2026 and the 2027 Festivals.
We will continue to rely on donations to continue. Without regular donations it will be necessary to significantly increase charges or to close the charity if the reserves continue to reduce at the rate they do.
In context, if we could find 40 people prepared to donate £10 per month, or 80 to donate £5 per month or even to donate just £2.50 per month, then we have a more certain future. Anything you would be prepared to donate on a regular basis would be very helpful and much appreciated.
